Amma brings a wealth of experience in Education and Youth Development to her role at Generation. Her journey spans roles in marketing communications, recruitment and programme management with universities, government and non-profit organisations. At MEST Africa, Amma led admissions operations across Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Cote d’Ivoire, and South Africa. As Communications Head, she managed company-wide brand adherence, media relations and coordinated successful projects in collaboration with esteemed partners such as UNICEF-Ghana, Vodafone Ghana, ONE.org. State Department, Facebook and others. Prior to joining Generation, Amma also advised and supported both seed & growth-stage startup teams, aiding in the development of their strategic recruitment systems and processes. In her current role at Generation, Amma oversees the full lifecycle of learners for Ghana, from managing the learner recruitment process to implementing mentorship programmes during and post-programme. She is dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of the Ghana programmes with efficiency and team work. Amma holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Information Studies from the University of Ghana, Legon. Committed to continuous learning, she has also completed short courses in careers services management from the University of Manchester, UK. Beyond her professional life, Amma enjoys exploring new places, yet cherishes moments spent with her family.
