Overview
Digital Marketers support marketing actions across a wide variety of industries and companies, performing tasks related to Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM), and creating digital content on web and social media platforms. They also assist in analysing, monitoring and tracking the success of digital marketing campaigns. With our free-of-charge, 12 week bootcamp, we’ll provide you with the launchpad to begin your career as a Digital Marketer. Additionally, we will provide you with access to secure an in-office job or support you with freelance remote work opportunities.
What jobs can I do after completing the programme?
This programme trains you to execute key digital marketing tasks and work on team projects in the industry. We’ll provide you with access to secure an in-office job, or support you to find freelance remote work opportunities as a digital marketer.
Graduates will have a wide range of career options, such as: Digital Marketer, Digital Marketing Associate, Digital Marketing Professional, Digital Marketing Executive, Digital Marketing Officer.
Who is this programme for?
This programme is open to people aged, 18-35 years old, that hold a degree from a university, college, technical training or vocational institutes who are currently unemployed or underemployed and not pursuing other education or training.
The Kumasi programme it’s delivered in-person and exclusive for women living in the Greater Kumasi area programme.
The Accra programme, it’s delivered online and it’s open to all genders living in the Greater Accra area.
You don’t need any qualifications or experience in digital marketing to apply.
We are looking for learners who are interested in solving problems through a combination of creativity and analysis, have strong attention to detail, and are open to learning how to use new software programmes, such as Canva and WordPress.
Requirements
- Kumasi Location: Cohort exclusively for women living in the Greater Kumasi area
- Accra Location: Cohort open to people of all genders living in the Greater Accra area
- Both Locations: Be 18-35 years old
- Both Locations: A degree from a university, college, vocational institutes or technical training including certifications from Cisco (Cisco Certification, Cisco Networking Academy Badge or Course Certificate of Completion)
- Both Locations: Have the legal right to work and live in the Ghana
- Both Locations: Available full-time for the duration of the programme

What does a Digital Marketer do?
Digital marketers support various industries and companies in executing marketing initiatives through online presence and actions. They perform tasks related to SEO and SEM, and create digital content on web and social media platforms. They also assist in analytics, monitoring and tracking the success of digital marketing campaign ROIs and KPIs.
Key responsibilities of a Digital Marketer:
- Marketing Campaign Execution: Assist in developing marketing strategies; create and monitor social media campaigns using diverse platforms; plan and execute email marketing campaigns; apply SEO and SEM strategies; help strengthen relationships with clients, affiliate networks and affiliate partners
- Research: Conduct market and product information research; understand client’s business and use the most effective digital channels to promote their market products and services; research new online media opportunities that may benefit the business, including mobile, social media, development of blogs, forums, and games
- Content Creation: Create, edit and upload content (photo, video, and stories) for company’s website and social media; write content for blogs, websites and social media to engage with online audiences
- Analytics & Optimisation: Track, analyse, and interpret data and campaign outcomes to assess against campaign goals, objectives, and KPIs; analyse the Return on Investment (ROI) of digital campaigns and find opportunities for improvement; use data to recommend marketing actions and decisions; optimise contents and digital advertising for company websites and social media platforms
